Job Summary
Key Skills:

• Testing Expertise:

• • • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
    • Proficiency in both manual and automated testing.

• Test Automation:

• • • Experience using automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
    • Ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

• Defect Management:

• • • Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira) for effective defect tracking and management.
    • Ability to identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.

• Analytical Skills:

• • • Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities to effectively identify and troubleshoot issues.

• Communication and Collaboration:

• • • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both within the QA team and with other cross-functional teams.
    • Ability to convey testing progress, outcomes, and issues clearly to team members and stakeholders.

• Java Programming:

• •  Knowledge and experience in Java for writing automation scripts.

    • Any other relevant automated testing tools based on project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution:

• • • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications.
    • Execute test cases, both manually and through automation, to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.

• Defect Management:

• • • Identify, document, and track software defects using the designated bug tracking system.
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution and validation of reported defects.

• Regression Testing:

• • • Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and validate new features without adverse impacts on existing functionality.

• Collaboration and Communication:

• • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of quality goals and project objectives.
  • Provide clear and concise status reports on testing progress, issues, and overall quality to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge & project exposure on  *POSTMAN, API Automation Testing*
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) is a plus.
